“Qi Gong and Chinese medicine have completely changed my life. Nearly 20 years ago when I first began to practice Qi Gong, I was suffering from chronic health issues and losing the motivation to live my life fully. Shortly after I began my Qigong practice, I was diagnosed with Lyme disease and Crohns disease. I suffered from chronic pain, digestive upset, fatigue, and depression. After practicing qigong for just a few weeks with dedication, I started to feel relief from the pain and some other symptoms improved in a subtle way; enough for me to be inspired to continue to practice. Since that time, I have continued to have a dedicated practice and not just because I wish to prevent disease but because of the quality of life I sustain through my practice. Qi Gong gets me in touch with how I truly feel inside and connects me with innate feelings of joy and gratitude that sometimes are hard to feel when we are living with chronic illness.”
